Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Mechanical process Project Engineer for Project Management and start-up of finishing modernization.

• BA in mechanical or process field. Under general direction completes engineering assignments of moderate to advanced complexity.

• Advanced level understanding of discipline, fully understands & assists with preparation of project scope, codes, permits.

• Fully versed with & can check work sequence, general content & methods used to generate specifications to purchase material, equipment systems or construction.

• Full understanding of construction drawings, data collection/evaluation regarding technical/-economic factors including physical, chemical, environmental, operational, regulatory, constructability & schedule factors.

• Fully understands inter-disciplinary vendor documents.

• Assists with development and projection of manpower requirements.

• Takes lead on estimate tasks/perform material take-off the discipline.

• Advanced level of material costs and/or forecasting, planning/scheduling of engineering tasks.

• Understands project change control process & can identify potential change.

• Develops equipment & material lists.

• Can integrate all project functional requirements into complete project plan.

• Provides technical guidance to les experienced staff, Maintain positive working relationship with peers, subordinates and client.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction start-up project management.
